Messerfix - Mowing blade with sharpening device

The “Messerfix” is a universal sharpening fixture for all common mowing blades and hedge trimmers. This makes sharpening easy for everyone.

Quick, easy, precise

The mowing blade is securely clamped using adjustable holders and does not need to be released during the sharpening process.The blades are then sharpened using a guided movement with the angle grinder. This translates into enormous time savings compared to conventional manual grinding tools.

The rotary wheel on the guide carriage ensures easy handling as a positioning aid. It can also be used to regulate the pressure on the cutting edge during sharpening. Play-free guide rails ensure precise, smooth movement of the angle grinder.

Highly effective and long-lasting

With numerous stepless adjustment options, the Messerfix allows for sharpening of all types of mowing blades. In addition, the settings for two different blade types can be ‘saved’ to enable a quick change from, for example, double blades to free-cut blades.

Its robust construction and use of high-quality components guarantee low-maintenance, long-life operation. All parts use screw connections, allowing easy upgrades or modifications in the future.

The Messerfix universal sharpening fixture comes with a high-quality, speed-controlled 850 watt Metabo angle grinder and a special 125 mm grinding disc. The grinder also features soft start and overload protection.

What’s new?

We have further optimised the Messerfix to make blade sharpening even more efficient. Here are the latest improvements:

Split aluminium rail: By using a sturdy, split aluminium rail, the size of the Messerfix could be reduced, resulting in more cost-effective shipping to our customers.
Extendable rail: The new rail design makes it possible to extend the knife holder later on as required in order to sharpen longer knives.
Knife holder adjustment options: The aluminium rail offers more adjustment options for the knife holders, making it easier to accommodate different knife sizes.
Height adjustment: The Messerfix can now be set to suit the user’s height.
High-quality plastic rollers: The use of high-quality plastic rollers improves the handling and smooth operation of the Messerfix.
Wrench for grinding disc replacement: A wrench for changing the grinding discs is now included in the delivery, making maintenance easier.
Assembly tool included: A wrench for assembling the Messerfix is also included in the package, so no additional tools are required.
Detailed instructions: An assembly and operating manual with detailed setup instructions is included.
Improved friction wheel: Thanks to the redesign, the friction wheel now has consistent grip along its entire length, allowing for more efficient sharpening.
New speed-controlled angle grinder: The Messerfix now comes with a powerful, speed-controlled METABO angle grinder with 850 watts, increasing sharpening performance.

Gripfix - climbing aids for greater safety

The use of machinery on steep slopes and rough terrain presents people with difficult working conditions, major challenges, and risks.With the easy-to-install climbing aids from esto, we aim to contribute to greater safety for both people and machines.

Safety

The special design of the climbing aids increases safety against lateral slipping. This ensures better ground adhesion and thus more grip for tracked crawler vehicles, especially in snow, ice, mud, heavy rain, and steep slopes.

Installation

Simple and quick installation of two identical components using high-strength screws. Since the climbing aids have through-holes, the thread is protected from damage. Any damaged screws can be easily removed by cutting them off with an angle grinder.

Important safety and usage instructions

The climbing aids increase traction and safety. However, they cannot guarantee absolute protection against lateral or other slipping, or against the vehicle tipping over!
The driver of the tracked vehicle must always check and ensure, before and during each use of the climbing aids,

that the installation and use of the climbing aids on the tracked vehicle does not exclude or restrict its operating license, or lead to unauthorised or safety-relevant functional impairments,
that the climbing aids are properly and securely installed (this inspection must be carried out before each use!),
hat the local conditions and surface permit the use of the climbing aids, and
that the use of the climbing aids does not pose any danger to third parties.

When using the climbing aids, the operator must always ensure that the vehicle is not exposed to an immediate risk of slipping or tipping. Responsibility for the safe and lawful use of the climbing aids rests solely with the user.
